The Challenge
The client's storefront had a payment-notification bug generating duplicate admin order emails, and a case-mismatch issue in the collection filtering logic was intermittently hiding products from shoppers on the merch and product detail pages.
The Solution
We built a dedicated AdminOrderNotification mailable gated behind a strict payment_status === 'paid' guard to eliminate duplicate order emails, and refactored the frontend's collection matching into a shared CANONICAL_COLLECTIONS / resolveCollection pattern used consistently across the storefront. We also managed the complete handover, including domain transfer via ICANN registrant change.
